The A350-1000 Business Class features 54 Safran suites in a 1-2-1 arrangement, each enclosed by 52-inch (132 cm) privacy walls and sliding doors—a first for JAL. Seats convert to a fully flat bed stretching 78 inches (198 cm) in length and 22 inches (56 cm) across, with personal wardrobes, generous storage, and ergonomic cushioning for optimal rest. Distinctive enhancements include integrated headrest speakers, a 24-inch (61 cm) 4K entertainment display, and wireless charging capabilities.

Etihad Airways – Elements Business Suite
Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national carrier, is raising the bar with its soon-to-enter-service Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, featuring the Collins Aerospace Elements Suite, acclaimed for its privacy and comfort.

Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific is introducing its Aria Suites—a state-of-the-art Business Class product—on its flagship Boeing 777-300ERs, with roll-out scheduled for mid-2025.
According to early previews, Aria Suites will offer a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone configuration, central seats angled for privacy, sliding doors, lie-flat comfort, and abundant storage. Passengers can expect wireless charging and a tranquil, modern aesthetic throughout the cabin.
While full details are forthcoming, our initial impressions suggest a significant upgrade for Cathay Pacific’s long-haul premium travelers—delivering exceptional privacy and comfort on some of the world’s most demanding routes.

Qantas – Project Sunrise Business Suite
Qantas, Australia’s national airline, is poised to redefine ultra-long-haul travel with its new Airbus A350-1000ULR fleet—crafted specifically for non-stop journeys from Sydney to New York and London as part of ‘Project Sunrise.’ Aircraft deliveries begin in late 2025.
The A350-1000 will accommodate 238 guests across four classes, featuring 52 Business Suites split by a central galley and social area. Window and aisle seating alternate, offering ‘honeymoon’ center pairs for couples and secluded window seats for solo travelers. Each suite features a sliding privacy door, a 2-meter (79-inch) lie-flat bed, 25-inch (63.5 cm) width, and plush leather ottoman.
Modern touches include wireless charging, multiple power outlets, Bluetooth audio, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an advanced entertainment system—ensuring productivity and relaxation on the world’s longest flights.

Hawaiian Airlines – Leihōkū Suite
Hawaiian Airlines’ new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners now feature the exclusive Leihōkū Suite (meaning ‘garland of stars’), blending island-inspired design with cutting-edge comfort. The cabin’s aesthetic draws from natural Hawaiian elements, with wave motifs, sunrise and sunset lighting, and tranquil textures.
Each of the 34 suites in a 1-2-1 layout provides a fully flat Adient Aerospace bed, sliding privacy door, direct aisle access, wireless and laptop charging, as well as an 18-inch HD entertainment screen. Hawaiian Airlines leads the way as the first carrier to offer this Adient-Boeing collaboration, setting a new standard for Pacific premium travel.
Dynamic LED lighting transitions from bright daylight to a starlit sky, creating a serene environment from takeoff to landing. The Leihōkū Suite is now available on select long-haul routes, with further expansion planned throughout 2025.

SWISS International Air Lines – SWISS Senses Cabin
SWISS is unveiling its new ‘SWISS Senses’ premium cabins across its long-haul fleet beginning in 2025, closely aligned with Lufthansa’s Allegris upgrades but with a refined Swiss touch.
Business Class will offer a choice of seating arrangements, including coveted ‘throne’ seats and four ultra-private Business Plus Suites at the front. Each suite features a two-meter (79-inch) lie-flat bed, 80–82 cm (31–32.3 inch) width, and an expansive 27-inch (69 cm) 4K entertainment screen. Other luxuries include heated and cooled seating, a wireless charging station, personal wardrobe, and high-end finishes in claret and anthracite hues.
These new cabins are being installed on all new Airbus A350-900s, and retrofitted to A330-300s and Boeing 777-300ERs, ensuring a consistent, elevated experience across the SWISS fleet.

Lufthansa – Allegris Business Class Suite
Lufthansa’s Allegris cabin concept, first announced in 2017, is finally poised for launch with first deliveries expected in the second half of 2025. The initial aircraft—either new Airbus A350s or Boeing 787s—will showcase this long-awaited upgrade.
The Allegris Business Class features two-meter (79-inch) fully flat beds with advanced heating and cooling, 4K entertainment, wireless charging, and Bluetooth connectivity. The innovative layout alternates between 1-2-1 and 1-1-1, providing coveted ‘throne’ seats for solo travelers and private front-row suites with high walls and sliding doors. Spacious wardrobes, personal minibars, and 27-inch (69 cm) monitors further elevate the experience. Couples will appreciate the connecting center suites, while solo and window-seat travelers can choose from a variety of specialized seating options, including 2.2-meter (87-inch) extra-long beds and double seats.

Air New Zealand – Business Premier Suites
Air New Zealand is pioneering the Safran Visa Business Class seat, debuting its Business Premier Suites on new ultra-long-haul Boeing 787 Dreamliners linking Auckland with New York and Chicago.
Refitting of the Dreamliner fleet is underway for completion by 2026. The Business Premier cabin offers a 1-2-1 herringbone layout, with fully flat beds (20.5 inches/52 cm wide and 80.25 inches/204 cm long), 47-inch (119 cm) high privacy shells, and retractable privacy shields in lieu of doors. Each suite includes 24-inch entertainment screens, USB-A/USB-C/AC power, Bluetooth audio, and wireless charging.
Front-row Business Premier Luxe Suites—available at a premium—provide sliding doors, plush furnishings, a buddy seat for in-air companion dining, and extra space. Most aircraft feature 22 Business Premier seats and four Luxe Suites, while ultra-long-range versions increase this to 42 and eight, respectively.

Air India – Next-Generation Business Suites
Air India, under the Tata Group, is undertaking a comprehensive brand transformation, introducing contemporary cabins across all classes and a reimagined livery. The airline’s ambitious fleet renewal includes 470 new aircraft, with Business Class transitioning to an all-suite configuration.
The latest Business Class Suites are arranged in a staggered 1-2-1 layout, ensuring direct aisle access for every traveler. Each suite features a fully flat seat, privacy door, wireless charging, ottoman, and a large touchscreen entertainment system, all presented in a sophisticated grey and aubergine palette with rose gold and silver accents.
The first Airbus A350-900s with these new cabins entered service in late 2024, initially on domestic routes, with international deployment ramping up in 2025. Existing Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft are being retrofitted as part of a multi-year fleet-wide upgrade.
