Air France offers exquisite Michelin-starred meals in its premium cabins

Air France continues to redefine luxury inflight dining, offering La Première and Business Class travelers a curated culinary journey crafted by legendary Michelin-starred chefs Michael Roth and Anne-Sophie Pic. These exclusive menus are now available on long-haul departures from Paris throughout 2025.

Chef Michael Roth, celebrated for his two Michelin stars and honored with both the Bocuse d'Or and Meilleur Ouvrier de France accolades, oversees the La Première menu. During our recent experience, guests began their meal with Sturia caviar, delicately paired with a buckwheat blini and smoked fish cream, followed by a refined lobster medallion starter accompanied by asparagus and a fresh raspberry vinaigrette.

The main course selection, featuring eight distinctive dishes, showcases Roth’s signature techniques: seared beef filet with foie gras and black truffle jus, sautéed asparagus and wild porcini mushrooms; herb-roasted chicken supreme with rosemary, sweet pepper tart, and Provençal stuffed zucchini; truffled polenta with garden vegetables, minted pea coulis, and carrot reduction; and brill fillet in a shellfish emulsion, complemented by seasonal greens and mussels.

Business Class guests savor a bespoke menu of eight courses designed by Anne-Sophie Pic—currently holding nine Michelin stars, including for La Dame de Pic at Raffles Singapore, solidifying her place among the world’s culinary elite.

Her creations include slow-braised beef with silky potato mousseline, plum chutney, and aromatic tarragon crumble; Provençal artichoke barigoule with creamy polenta, smoked vanilla burrata, and lively tomato coulis; and seashell pasta tossed with Swiss chard, zesty lemon coulis, smoked goat cheese mousse, and roasted pumpkin seeds.

Air France consistently provides a vegetarian selection, and children’s meals are now exclusively organic, reflecting the airline’s commitment to holistic well-being and sustainability. As part of their ongoing sustainability initiatives, Air France sources 100% French meat, dairy, and eggs, as well as MSC-certified sustainable fish on all Paris flights. Every dish is prepared in France to ensure authenticity and freshness.

Business Class travelers are invited to pre-select their main courses prior to departure, minimizing food waste and ensuring their preferred dish is available.

La Première remains Air France’s pinnacle of luxury, offered solely aboard select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on key intercontinental routes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

With just four private suites in a dedicated cabin, La Première surpasses Business Class in exclusivity. On flagship routes to cities such as Washington, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Johannesburg, La Première guests enjoy private suites with extra-wide, two-meter-long lie-flat beds, setting the standard for opulent air travel from Paris CDG.
