Air France has elevated its premium travel offering with the introduction of its redesigned Business Class cabin across twelve Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The flagship Paris–Charles de Gaulle to New York–JFK route is the first to showcase this sophisticated new product, setting a new standard for transatlantic luxury in 2025.
Originally unveiled as part of a comprehensive fleet modernization initiative, Air France has now fully rolled out these state-of-the-art cabins on its 777s, with all refits completed and additional enhancements underway for its Airbus A350 deliveries. The new Business Class is available on multiple daily flights, offering discerning travelers a seamless blend of comfort and innovation.
The highlight of the revamped cabin is the Safran Versa seat, engineered for maximum privacy and convenience. Each suite transforms into a fully flat bed nearly 2 meters long, ensuring restful sleep on long-haul journeys. Every guest enjoys direct aisle access and the added exclusivity of a sliding door, creating a private sanctuary in the sky.
Tech-forward amenities abound: a generous 17.3-inch 4K Ultra HD touchscreen with anti-glare finish, immersive noise-cancelling headphones, Bluetooth pairing for personal devices, multiple USB ports, laptop charging, wireless charging pads, and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. These features cater to both business and leisure travelers who expect seamless digital integration.
The 48-suite cabin is arranged in a reverse herringbone configuration, using premium materials such as French full-grain leather, brushed aluminum, and fine wool. The color palette—crisp whites, rich tan accents, and deep blue fabrics—evokes understated French elegance. Distinctive design elements include a backlit winged seahorse emblem set into each suite’s storage door and customizable ‘do not disturb’ lighting for a tailored experience.
Air France’s commitment to luxury extends beyond the 777: the same Business Class suite is now featured on its latest A350s, and the airline continues to develop an all-new La Première cabin for future deployment. These investments underscore Air France’s position as a leader in premium aviation, recognized by multiple Skytrax awards for innovation and guest comfort.
