Designed to evoke lasting travel memories, these new kits result from a collaboration with celebrated American brands Shinola and D.S. & Durga, offering passengers a touch of luxury both in the skies and beyond.
Handcrafted in Detroit, Shinola’s reputation for exceptional timepieces and artisanal leatherwork is reflected in the amenity bags’ sophisticated design and durability. Brooklyn-based D.S. & Durga, renowned for their niche fragrances, have created exclusive skincare products for the kits, all presented in eco-friendly packaging that aligns with American Airlines’ ongoing sustainability initiatives.
As a distinctive collector’s item, Shinola has also produced a limited-edition Mad Dog Desk Clock featuring a dial fashioned from the authentic metal of American Airlines’ retired MD-80 aircraft. This rare piece is available with official AA branding as well as without branding. Only 1,000 individually numbered clocks have been released, each with its own unique character. In addition, select Admirals Club lounges now feature Shinola wall clocks, further enhancing the brand’s presence within the airline’s premium spaces.
