ANA enhances its sake offerings onboard & in lounges

Beginning March 1st, All Nippon Airways (ANA) is transforming the inflight and lounge beverage experience by introducing a refined collection of 34 sake labels for guests in First Class, Business Class, and Premium Class. Previously, ANA’s premium cabins featured just 8 sake varieties, making this expansion one of the most extensive sake programs in the skies.

Discerning travelers can now enjoy this exclusive sake selection in First and Business Class on all international routes, Premium Class on domestic flights, and at the flagship ANA SUITE LOUNGE for both domestic and international journeys, as well as the ANA LOUNGE at international terminals.

This marks ANA’s first major sake menu overhaul since 2020, reflecting a renewed commitment to showcasing Japan’s sake heritage. The carefully curated collection highlights rare, artisanal breweries and introduces a spectrum of regional flavors—from delicate floral notes to full-bodied, umami-rich profiles—catering to seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers alike.

The selection process was led by Yasuyuki Kitahara, ANA’s esteemed sake advisor and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Conrad Tokyo. Kitahara sampled and assessed 207 contenders, ultimately selecting the most exceptional bottles to represent Japan’s diverse sake landscape onboard and in lounges.

With a network spanning 82 international and 118 domestic routes, and operations at Tokyo’s Narita and Haneda airports, ANA continues to set a benchmark for authentic Japanese hospitality and luxury travel experiences.
