Austrian Airlines brings back the Flying Chef

Beginning this spring, Austrian Airlines, in partnership with renowned caterer DO & CO, is once again delighting Business Class travelers with its signature Flying Chef service. After a three-year pause, the airline has reintroduced onboard chefs on long-haul Business Class flights, reaffirming its commitment to culinary artistry and refined hospitality. These specially trained chefs, exclusively from DO & CO, craft and present globally inspired menus, emphasizing the finest local and seasonal ingredients sourced from Austria and beyond.

According to Austrian Airlines CCO Michael Trestl, “Our goal is to create a truly memorable journey, blending authentic Austrian hospitality with exceptional gastronomy. The return of the Flying Chef service, in collaboration with DO & CO, marks a new era for our Business Class passengers on intercontinental routes.”
