Following a multi-year hiatus, Cathay Pacific has triumphantly reinstated its First Class service on flagship routes connecting Hong Kong with London, Paris, and Tokyo—redefining ultra-premium air travel for discerning flyers in 2025.
First Class has resumed on London Heathrow flights CX251 and CX252, operated by the revered Boeing 777-300ER fleet. Paris-bound travelers can indulge in First Class luxury on CX261 and CX260, while Tokyo Haneda’s CX548 and CX549 flights now also feature this exclusive service.
To mark the return, Cathay Pacific curated a celebratory onboard experience for London routes, featuring Krug Vintage Champagne and rare Bordeaux selections such as Château Lynch-Bages and Lynch-Bages Blanc. Onboard menus were elevated with festive, chef-driven creations, underscoring the airline’s commitment to culinary excellence.
During our journey, we experienced Cathay Pacific’s signature turndown service: plush bedding crafted from 600-thread-count, sustainably sourced cotton, exclusive pillow options enhanced with Bamford’s soothing lavender mist, and amenity kits stocked with Bamford’s natural skincare essentials. Travelers are pampered with high-quality cotton sleepwear, slippers, and eye masks designed for ultimate comfort.
The Boeing 777-300ER’s First Class cabin boasts six expansive suites in a 1-1-1 configuration, providing exceptional privacy and space. Anticipation is building for the next-generation First Class suites, launching with the Boeing 777X (777-9) deliveries expected later this year. Early previews suggest a transformative leap in design and technology, setting a new benchmark for international First Class.
