Cathay Pacific reopens flagship lounges in Hong Kong

Cathay Pacific, the renowned Hong Kong-based airline, has officially reopened its two most prestigious airport lounges at Hong Kong International Airport, following comprehensive refurbishments and the full return of international travel.

With the easing of border controls and the resurgence of global travel demand, First Class guests and elite oneworld Emerald and Cathay Diamond members are once again welcomed into The Wing First Lounge. The space now offers an enhanced, tranquil environment designed for relaxation and exclusivity.

Business Class travelers, as well as Cathay Diamond, Gold, and Silver members and oneworld Sapphire and Emerald frequent flyers, are invited to enjoy The Pier Business Lounge. This award-winning facility remains a benchmark for premium airport experiences in Asia, following its recent upgrades.

Currently, these two lounges are in operation, with The Pier First, The Deck, and The Wing Business lounges expected to reopen in phases. Cathay Pacific has yet to announce definitive reopening dates for these additional spaces.

This milestone follows the successful relaunch of Cathay Pacific’s lounges at London Heathrow, Shanghai Pudong, and Tokyo Haneda, reflecting the airline’s commitment to delivering world-class hospitality across its network.

The Wing First Lounge consistently ranks among the world’s top airport lounges, renowned for its serene ambiance and exceptional amenities. The acclaimed Haven restaurant presents both à la carte and buffet dining, while the dedicated Champagne Bar features an elite selection of vintages. Guests can unwind in private Cabanas—each outfitted with a soaking tub, rainforest shower, daybed, high-end toiletries, and a personal workspace. For those seeking to refresh, the luxury shower suites are impeccably maintained and thoughtfully appointed.

The Pier Business Lounge is recognized as one of the world’s leading Business Class lounges. As the largest lounge at Hong Kong International Airport, it impresses with its signature Noodle Bar, an expansive Food Hall, a tranquil Teahouse, a contemporary Cocktail Bar, a relaxation zone with daybeds, and private shower suites. Additional features include a state-of-the-art Business Centre and a Wellness Centre dedicated to travelers’ well-being.
