This innovative offering is now accessible on 30 additional global routes, with key cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah, Delhi, Mumbai, and Kuala Lumpur joining the network. Since its inception, Emirates has successfully fulfilled over 10,000 preordered meals across 3,000 flights, with daily preorders now surpassing 600—a testament to its growing popularity among discerning Business Class travelers.
Business Class guests have the flexibility to select their main course from two weeks up to 24 hours before departure. This guarantees access to preferred dishes while significantly reducing onboard food wastage—a sustainable initiative aligned with Emirates’ environmental goals. Among the most coveted options are the pan-seared beef tenderloin with thyme jus and roasted potatoes, grilled beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce, and Suffolk roasted chicken, while the cheddar & chive omelette with sautéed spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes remains a breakfast favorite.
Cabin crew utilize dedicated Apple devices to seamlessly verify and deliver each guest’s preselected meal. This digital solution complements Emirates’ AI-powered preference tracking and real-time crew feedback platform, optimizing menu planning, inventory management, and minimizing excess catering.
Meal preordering is part of a comprehensive suite of digital enhancements including web and mobile check-in, digital boarding passes, interactive menus, and streamlined Skywards enrolment for complimentary onboard Wi-Fi messaging. Passengers can also curate their ice entertainment playlists before departure, personalizing every aspect of their journey.
