Emirates has unveiled its exclusive Aircrafted by Emirates Collection, a limited-edition range of luxury travel gear and accessories meticulously fashioned from upcycled aircraft interiors. This bespoke line features crafted luggage, backpacks, and handbags, all created by Emirates’ in-house artisans at the Dubai Engineering Centre.
Available for purchase in 2025 through Emirates Official Stores, every item in the collection supports the Emirates Airline Foundation’s charitable efforts for children worldwide.
Each piece in this collection is a collector’s item, incorporating authentic elements from the airline’s iconic Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 fleets. Salvaged materials include aircraft-grade aluminum, leather sourced from First Class and onboard lounge seating, seatbelt webbing, and more—reclaimed from 16 extensively refurbished jets.
Discerning customers can opt for bespoke touches such as precision laser engraving, ensuring every handcrafted accessory is truly unique. All materials, including premium leathers and wool seat textiles, are expertly sanitized and revitalized before being transformed into these statement pieces.
The project is powered by a dedicated team of 14 Emirates interior specialists, with four full-time master tailors focusing exclusively on this pioneering upcycling initiative.
The Aircrafted by Emirates Collection is a highlight of the ongoing Emirates Retrofit Project, which began in 2022 as the most ambitious retrofit program in commercial aviation. The initiative spans the comprehensive refurbishment of 120 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, reaffirming Emirates’ commitment to sustainability and passenger comfort.
