Etihad Airways has debuted a captivating new livery to commemorate its 20th anniversary, blending contemporary artistry with Emirati heritage. The design features dynamic line art, symbolizing the airline’s commitment to unity and the enduring spirit of Abu Dhabi. Each brushstroke weaves together stories from the past two decades, cementing Etihad’s reputation as a leading luxury carrier born in the UAE capital.
Showcased on one of Etihad’s latest-generation Airbus A321neo aircraft, the livery beautifully incorporates visual elements inspired by Abu Dhabi’s skyline and cultural landmarks. Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s CEO, commented, “This special livery is a tribute to our Emirati roots and our relentless pursuit of excellence. It reflects our achievements and our vision for the next era, positioning Etihad as the preferred choice for discerning travelers.”
The bespoke design features bilingual decals in Arabic and English, elegantly wrapping both sides of the aircraft’s fuselage. This unique livery graces one of six new A321neos delivered in 2025, each representing Etihad’s ongoing fleet renewal strategy.
The addition of these six A321neo jets, equipped with the latest Pratt & Whitney GTF engines, underscores Etihad’s commitment to sustainability and efficiency. These engines deliver up to 20% greater fuel efficiency and reduced carbon emissions, aligning with the airline’s ambitious environmental goals and its pledge to achieve net zero by 2050.
The new A321neos are now operating on key routes across India and the Middle East, allowing passengers throughout Etihad’s expanding network to experience the anniversary livery firsthand.
