Finnair is set to deliver a new level of sophistication to its Embraer fleet, unveiling a full-scale redesign of cabin interiors for its regional aircraft. Operating across key domestic and intra-European routes, the 12-strong Embraer fleet will feature refreshed seating for 100 guests following the upgrade.
This comprehensive refurbishment will introduce a contemporary, Scandinavian-inspired ambiance, echoing the premium materials and design language found in Finnair’s latest long-haul cabins. Expect tactile finishes, calming color palettes, and ergonomic seating—hallmarks of Finnair’s commitment to Nordic luxury and passenger well-being.
Ole Orvér, Finnair's Chief Commercial Officer, shared, “We are dedicated to providing a consistently elevated experience for our travelers, whether flying within Finland or across Europe. The redesigned Embraer cabins will deliver the same refined atmosphere and comfort our guests now enjoy on our flagship Airbus wide-body aircraft.”
The phased rollout is already underway in 2025, with the first enhanced Embraer jet having entered service in early spring. The full fleet transformation is on track for completion before year’s end, positioning Finnair at the forefront of regional premium travel in Northern Europe.
