Hawaiian unveils Leihōkū Suites

Hawaiian Airlines has elevated its premium offering with the introduction of the Leihōkū Suite aboard its state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

As of early 2025, select transpacific routes now showcase this exclusive Business Class product, where travelers are immersed in a cabin ambiance inspired by the islands’ vibrant landscapes. The design highlights tactile materials, ambient lighting that transitions between sunrise and sunset hues, and organic motifs reminiscent of the ocean’s rhythm and tropical breezes.

With a heritage dating back to 1929, Hawaiian Airlines continues its tradition of innovation with the 787-9 Dreamliner, accommodating 300 passengers and featuring an advanced Business Class: the Leihōkū Suites (translating to 'garland of stars'). These 34 private suites provide fully flat beds, expansive 18-inch entertainment displays, personal power sources, wireless charging pads, and unobstructed aisle access. The 1-2-1 configuration, complete with sliding doors, ensures privacy or togetherness, including center suites designed to connect for couples wishing to relax beneath a simulated starlit sky.

Hawaiian Airlines is the launch customer for the Adient Aerospace suite, a result of a unique partnership between Boeing and automotive seating leader Adient. This collaboration delivers a bespoke luxury experience, tailored for discerning travelers.

The 787’s interior serves as a modern homage to the Polynesian voyagers who navigated the Pacific using the celestial bodies, elements, and wildlife—an ethos woven into every design detail of the Leihōkū Suite.
