As of this year, Iberia has fully integrated WhatsApp into its customer service toolkit, making travel planning even more intuitive for frequent flyers and leisure travelers alike.
By messaging the dedicated WhatsApp number +34 676 67 60 04 from any mobile device, passengers are able to check in, instantly access their boarding pass, and get live updates on flight status. This feature is available for all domestic routes, most European destinations, and select long-haul flights including those to Chile, Peru, and Uruguay. Upcoming enhancements will allow travelers to purchase add-ons such as extra baggage directly within WhatsApp. In addition, Iberia Plus Platinum, Infinita, and Infinita Prime members have access to an exclusive WhatsApp support channel, ensuring personalized service.
Iberia has also overhauled its website and mobile app, introducing a robust, AI-powered search function, interactive route maps, and clearer documentation requirements.
