Korean Air has introduced a cutting-edge Business Class cabin aboard its latest Airbus A321neo aircraft, elevating the standard for premium narrow-body travel in Asia. The new Prestige Class features a bespoke Collins Aerospace Diamond seat, offering a fully flat bed for an exceptional rest above the clouds.
The A321neo now operates across Korean Air’s regional network, serving key routes throughout Southeast Asia, China, and Japan. Notably, this marks the airline’s first narrow-body model to provide lie-flat Business Class seating, setting a new benchmark for comfort on short and medium-haul journeys.
The Business Class cabin comprises 8 seats in a 2-2 layout, maximizing privacy and space within the single-aisle configuration. Passengers enjoy the innovative Airbus Airspace cabin — a regional first — with overhead bins that are approximately 40% larger than previous designs, customizable mood lighting, and lavatories fitted with advanced antibacterial surfaces and enhanced illumination. Larger windows and improved shades further enhance the inflight ambiance.
Each Prestige Class seat is upholstered in a sophisticated dark grey and gold palette, complemented by a 17.3-inch (44-centimeter) high-definition entertainment screen and integrated wireless charging for personal devices. Inflight Wi-Fi is now available for purchase on all A321neo flights, keeping travelers connected throughout their journey.
As of 2025, Korean Air’s ongoing fleet renewal sees up to 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft joining by 2027. These jets deliver up to 25% greater fuel efficiency per seat compared to previous generations, supporting both operational sustainability and the airline’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.
Korean Air, a founding SkyTeam member alongside Air France and KLM, maintains a robust joint venture with Delta Air Lines, seamlessly linking over 80 Asian destinations with more than 290 cities across the Americas for an unparalleled global network.
