The highly anticipated Lufthansa Allegris collection—heralded as the next generation of luxury long-haul travel—officially launched on May 1st. Lufthansa's state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 now features a completely reimagined Business Class, including exclusive front-row suites, as well as an upgraded Premium Economy. The unveiling of the new First Class Allegris suite is scheduled for later in 2025, promising an even greater level of refinement.
First revealed in 2017, the Allegris project set out to elevate the entire Lufthansa Group's transcontinental offering, extending across SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and, of course, Lufthansa itself. The inaugural Allegris-equipped A350 now connects Munich with the dynamic West Coast city of Vancouver. Following this launch, Toronto joined the schedule, alternating with Vancouver for select departures in the rollout phase. As additional A350-900s have entered service, Allegris cabins have expanded to other North American routes, including Chicago and Montreal, offering more travelers access to this elevated experience during the summer peak.
For discerning travelers eager to personalize their journey, seat maps for all Allegris-operated flights from May 1st onward are now available, showcasing a range of innovative seating configurations—five distinct options in Business Class alone. A curated gallery of images, along with detailed descriptions, allows passengers to explore the unique features and benefits of each seat selection before they fly.
Customers already ticketed on eligible flights are automatically notified of their complimentary upgrade to the new Allegris cabin. For a limited introductory period, Business Class seat assignments are offered free of charge, enabling flexible changes through Lufthansa’s digital and traditional booking channels. Travelers can confirm if their flight features the Allegris product up to three weeks prior to departure, ensuring transparency and peace of mind.
