Passengers on long-haul routes can now enjoy an enhanced culinary journey, with Lufthansa’s menu focusing on heritage breads, high-profile collaborations, and a signature cocktail, the Lufthansa Aperitif Avionic, expertly developed with Ziegler.
Germany’s world-renowned bread culture, honored by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, comes alive onboard. Each bread roll is crafted using only pure, natural ingredients and paired with hand-churned artisanal butter and cold-pressed olive oil. The selection rotates every season, ensuring a fresh and distinctive taste profile with each journey.
Business Class guests are welcomed with the “Avionic,” an exclusive aperitif created by the acclaimed Ziegler distillery and Frankfurt’s award-winning mixologist Sven Riebel. This refreshing peach-based cocktail, subtly layered with wildflower botanicals, is served alongside gourmet nuts as a sophisticated welcome gesture.
The menu further expands with a new selection of vegetarian amuse-bouches, featuring inspirations from Mediterranean antipasti to refined vegetarian sushi. The dessert course has been refreshed with seasonal fruit and a customizable snack bar, catering to modern preferences for healthy and flexible dining options.
Starting this summer, every Business Class traveler receives a personalized Lindt chocolate box as a farewell treat. Lindt, the iconic Swiss chocolatier and part of Lindt & Sprüngli, shares Lufthansa Group membership with SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings.
