Lufthansa has expanded its digital entertainment suite for travelers flying on its short- and medium-haul routes, setting a new standard for in-flight connectivity and content in 2025.
Through the upgraded FlyNet® Wi-Fi portal, guests now enjoy seamless access to a curated library of over 45 leading German and English-language magazines directly on their smartphones, tablets, or laptops. This feature is available fleetwide, including long-haul flights with the state-of-the-art Allegris cabin, and is supported by an advanced entertainment system in every travel class.
For the first time, digital magazines are accessible via seatback screens, making premium content available to all passengers regardless of device.
Travelers also retain the option to download a wide range of eJournals before departure or during their flight, with selection tailored by cabin class and Miles & More membership tier. Currently, Lufthansa offers access to approximately 1,600 digital publications spanning 40 languages, ensuring global appeal.
European routes now feature a refreshed collection of podcasts on the FlyNet® portal. These include the latest in business, travel, science, and entertainment, all complimentary and available in both German and English for a truly international audience.
During the 2024 European Men's Football Championship, Lufthansa introduced an exclusive live ticker for real-time match updates, accessible on personal devices via FlyNet®. Special football-themed magazines enhanced the in-flight experience, complemented by live score announcements from the crew throughout the tournament.
