Lufthansa unveils suites for First and Business Class

Lufthansa has set a new benchmark in premium air travel with its extensive Allegris suite rollout, marking the most significant upgrade to its long-haul cabins to date. The highly anticipated First Class Suites made their debut on ten Airbus A350s, now operating out of the airline’s Munich hub, and are complemented by the launch of the exclusive Business Plus Suites.

The Allegris collection represents a bespoke evolution of Lufthansa’s luxury offering, enhancing the original Boeing 777-9 Business Class concept and extending the new design language across A350s, 787-9s, and 747-8s through ongoing retrofits.

Each First Class Suite provides guests with unrivaled privacy, thanks to soaring suite walls and nearly one-meter-wide seats that transform into expansive, plush beds. A separate ottoman doubles as a companion seat, allowing two travelers to dine together on a generously sized table, mirroring the finest restaurant experiences at 35,000 feet.

Passengers enjoy a panoramic HD entertainment screen spanning the ottoman’s width, with seamless Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones. Every suite features a dedicated wardrobe, ensuring garments remain pristine throughout the journey.

The Business Class cabin introduces a sophisticated alternating layout, with both 1-2-1 and 1-1-1 configurations. The coveted central throne seat offers additional workspace, ideal for business travelers and digital nomads alike.

Enhanced privacy is achieved through elevated suite dividers, while the fully flat beds extend to an impressive 2.2 meters. The throne seats, designed for solo flyers, offer a slightly more compact sleeping area of two meters.

Onboard amenities cater to the modern luxury traveler, including expansive work surfaces, wireless device charging, and industry-leading noise-cancelling headphones. Each seat is controlled via a dedicated tablet, allowing guests to personalize their seating, climate, and ambient lighting. The 17-inch Bluetooth-enabled IFE monitor pairs seamlessly with personal devices, ensuring a connected and immersive entertainment experience.

At the front of the Business Class cabin, the Business Plus Suite delivers an elevated experience akin to Virgin Atlantic’s ‘Retreat Suite’, featuring floor-to-ceiling privacy doors, a 27-inch ultra-HD screen, abundant storage, and a personal wardrobe for each traveler.

Lufthansa’s Allegris product will be featured on over 100 new and retrofitted aircraft, including flagship Airbus A350s, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, 777-9s, and select 747-8s, ensuring a consistent, world-class experience across its long-haul fleet.
