Qantas - Campari and Australian Gin now being served

Qantas has unveiled a sophisticated new lineup of Australian gins and, for the first time, Campari, available in every international cabin as part of its enhanced 2025 spirits program. This move coincides with the airline's latest seasonal winter menus, underscoring Qantas’s commitment to elevating the inflight experience for discerning travelers.

Travelers in International First, Business, and Premium Economy can now savor the acclaimed Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin as the signature pour. First Class guests and those in select lounges will also be treated to an exclusive, rotating selection of boutique Australian gins, such as Applewood, Brookie’s, Beachtree ‘Quokka’ Gin, and Australian Distilling Co ‘Bondi’ Gin, each highlighting the country’s artisanal distilling prowess.

Campari, a global favorite among aperitif aficionados, is now featured on all international flights, arriving just as the peak European summer travel season begins. In premium cabins, guests can enjoy their Campari alongside a curated trio of roasted almonds, cashews, and hazelnuts, designed to complement the beverage’s bittersweet profile.

Whisky connoisseurs are also in for a treat. Qantas now pours the multi-award-winning Lark Classic Cask from Tasmania in First Class, while domestic Business Class guests can sample Starward Nova, a Melbourne-crafted single malt matured in red wine barrels—both reflecting Australia’s world-class whisky scene.

The airline’s culinary and beverage transformation is led by Neil Perry, Creative Director of Food, Beverage, and Service. Alongside an expert team of mixologists and sommeliers, Perry meticulously evaluated nearly 400 premium spirits to assemble this bespoke offering, ensuring a rich, locally inspired selection that meets international luxury standards.

Perry’s newly designed winter menu puts seasonal Australian produce in the spotlight and introduces creative plant-based dishes across all cabins. Each route features destination-inspired cuisine, providing guests with a sense of place from takeoff to landing.

Highlights from the Qantas Winter Inflight Menu:

- Prawn and kimchi dumplings paired with marinated cucumber
- Fresh crudités with wattleseed-beetroot dip, native greens, and Persian-style feta
- House-made artichoke fagottini with tomato consommé, sweet peas, scallop, and tarragon
- Coconut sticky rice pudding, mango, toasted coconut, and sesame
