Qatar Airways Group CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, has officially announced the introduction of all-new First Class suites across select aircraft and confirmed that a reimagined Qsuite Business Class will premiere this July.
These transformative upgrades are designed to reinforce Qatar Airways’ reputation for innovation and luxury, cementing its position at the forefront of the aviation industry.
In his first in-depth interview with CNBC since taking the helm as Group CEO in late 2023, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer shared, "We are at the threshold of an exciting new chapter."
During the conversation, Al-Meer detailed his vision for the airline, emphasizing the importance of an exceptional First Class product tailored for discerning travelers seeking exclusivity and comfort at the highest level.
He noted, "We have seen a notable surge in demand for First Class travel from key markets. In response, we are crafting a unique First Class suite inspired by the best elements of both our commercial and private aviation expertise. With most design elements finalized and only the finishing touches on the color palette remaining, we are nearly ready to reveal this bespoke experience."
Al-Meer also confirmed that the next evolution of the award-winning Qsuite will be officially launched at the Farnborough International Airshow in July 2025. Since its original debut in 2017, Qsuite has consistently redefined premium business travel and garnered numerous global accolades.
Currently, Qatar Airways connects travelers to over 170 global destinations. The airline is expanding its network with inaugural flights to Hamburg and Tashkent, and is restoring much-anticipated routes to Lisbon and Venice. For the summer season, popular leisure destinations such as Adana, Antalya, Bodrum, Marrakesh, Mykonos, Sarajevo, and Trabzon are also returning to the schedule.
