Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has announced a sweeping expansion for its Summer 2025 schedule, featuring more than 5,000 weekly flights to over 100 destinations, including a curated lineup of 20 new Mediterranean hotspots. This enhanced program underscores SAS's commitment to meeting the surging demand for premium leisure and business travel across Europe and beyond.

With travel appetite at an all-time high, SAS's summer network will surpass pre-pandemic capacity, boasting over 200 distinct routes. The airline anticipates record passenger volumes on its flagship domestic, Nordic, and international services, leveraging its modernized fleet and recent service upgrades.

Spain remains a top draw, with increased frequencies to favorite locales from Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. In addition, Croatia welcomes Zadar as a new destination, now directly accessible from Copenhagen, enhancing connectivity to the Adriatic coast.

Italy is set for a significant boost, with expanded service to Milan, Bologna, and Rome. Travelers can now enjoy up to three daily flights from Copenhagen to Milan, two daily from Stockholm, and daily departures from Oslo. Further, Florence, Catania, and Palermo will see more frequent flights from Copenhagen, while new routes from Oslo to Catania, Florence, and Venice, plus Bergen to Milan, elevate Italy-bound options to an impressive 156 weekly departures.

In Norway, SAS introduces nine additional European routes and one new domestic service, including Oslo to Antalya, Larnaca, and Stuttgart, and Bergen to Nice. Domestically, travelers benefit from new links between Haugesund and both Trondheim and Copenhagen, alongside increased capacity on Ålesund–Copenhagen flights.

Copenhagen emerges as a key hub, launching seven new routes: Haugesund, Porto, Larnaca, Antalya, Newquay, Zadar, and the recently introduced New York JFK service, as featured in a recent Businessclass report.

Stockholm adds four new sun-soaked routes: Antalya, Ibiza, Montpellier, and Vaasa. Enhanced connections between Sweden and Denmark arrive with more flights linking Aalborg and Aarhus to Copenhagen.

Within Sweden, SAS strengthens domestic links, optimizing travel between Stockholm, Luleå, Gothenburg, and Umeå to serve both business and leisure flyers.

The airline continues to reinforce its intercontinental presence, now featuring nine long-haul destinations: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York (EWR and JFK), San Francisco, Washington DC, Toronto, and Shanghai. With over 170 transatlantic and Asian flights weekly, SAS maintains its reputation for reliability and comfort on global routes.
