Second Star Alliance lounge at Paris CDG

Star Alliance, the world’s foremost airline alliance, has introduced its second exclusive lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, elevating the premium travel experience for its guests.

This newly opened lounge welcomes First and Business Class passengers, Star Alliance Gold status holders, as well as United Club and Air Canada Maple Leaf Club members, departing from Terminal 1’s gates 10 through 38.

Strategically located in the terminal’s most modern wing, just past the security and passport control area, the lounge boasts an impressive footprint of 1,300 square metres and comfortably seats more than 300 guests.

Floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic runway views and infuse the lounge with abundant natural light, creating an open, airy ambiance. The interior design harmoniously blends the sophistication of contemporary Parisian aesthetics with bespoke touches—think iconic black-and-white Eiffel Tower photography and curated pieces by acclaimed French artists.

Signature amenities include an elegant Welcome Bar serving artisanal beverages, a Wine Bar in partnership with the distinguished winemaker Gérard Bertrand, and a cosmopolitan Tea Salon featuring an extensive global selection. The lounge is tailored for productivity as well, with discreet work pods and tranquil business zones thoughtfully integrated throughout the space.

Guests can unwind in the sunlit Winter Garden, step outside into a serene courtyard, or refresh in one of the luxurious shower suites—each element designed for both relaxation and rejuvenation.

With this opening, Terminal 1 now features two Star Alliance lounges. The original lounge, renovated in 2019 and conveniently positioned pre-security on level 10, now serves passengers on intra-Schengen flights departing gates 50–78 and is accessible to members of various lounge programs.

Currently, 20 Star Alliance carriers operate from Paris-CDG, offering 464 flights each week to 34 destinations across 22 countries worldwide.

The Star Alliance network now comprises 26 member airlines: Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, Air New Zealand, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Austrian, Avianca, Brussels Airlines, Copa Airlines, Croatia Airlines, EGYPTAIR, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, SAS, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, SWISS, TAP Air Portugal, THAI, Turkish Airlines, and United.
