Singapore Airlines has announced the temporary closure of its renowned SilverKris Lounge at London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 2, commencing 8 February, as the space undergoes a transformative £3.5 million refurbishment. This comprehensive upgrade is designed to deliver an elevated luxury experience, with the reopening anticipated for late summer 2025.
The renovation will boost overall seating by approximately 16 percent, drawing inspiration from the latest SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 3, acclaimed for their contemporary aesthetics and sophisticated amenities.
London remains a flagship market for Singapore Airlines, and this significant investment underlines the carrier’s long-standing commitment to providing exceptional hospitality for discerning travelers in the UK capital. With over fifty years of continuous operations in London, the airline continues to set new benchmarks in premium travel.
During the refurbishment, eligible guests—including First and Business Class passengers, PPS Club members, KrisFlyer Elite Gold, and Star Alliance Gold status holders—are invited to enjoy the United Airlines United Club Lounge in Terminal 2, conveniently located opposite Gate B46.
