Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is set to redefine premium air travel in 2025 with the launch of its all-new First and Business Class cabins. These state-of-the-art suites, inspired by the acclaimed Allegris concept introduced by Lufthansa in 2023, bring an elevated sense of privacy, comfort, and Swiss sophistication to long-haul journeys.
This cabin transformation coincides with the phase-out of SWISS’s iconic Airbus A340 fleet. In their place, SWISS will deploy new-generation Airbus and Boeing aircraft, each featuring exclusive interiors tailored to the airline’s renowned design ethos and commitment to Swiss quality.
The First Class Suites are meticulously crafted for ultimate discretion and space. Encased by high walls and a sliding door, each suite boasts a seat nearly one meter wide that seamlessly converts into a plush, expansive bed. An ottoman serves as a companion seat, enabling intimate inflight dining experiences at a spacious, extendable table. Guests benefit from personal wardrobes and an ultra-wide, high-definition entertainment screen that stretches beyond the ottoman, complete with Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio.
In Business Class, passengers in the front row will discover four exclusive Business Plus Suites. These feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, a generous 27-inch (69 cm) HD screen, individual wardrobes, and ample storage, setting a new benchmark for business travel.
The main Business Class cabin alternates between 1-2-1 and 1-1-1 seating layouts, including coveted central throne seats with expanded work surfaces. Each seat is enveloped by high, curved privacy panels, offering increased shoulder room and transforming into a fully flat bed nearly 2.2 meters long. Advanced amenities include a multifunction tablet to control seat adjustments, personalized lighting and climate settings, a 17-inch (43 cm) HD screen, wireless audio for personal Bluetooth headphones, integrated wireless charging, and comprehensive device connectivity. Every Business Class seat provides direct aisle access, underscoring SWISS’s dedication to passenger comfort and convenience.
