Virgin Atlantic serves up new seasonal menu

Virgin Atlantic has unveiled its highly anticipated Spring/Summer menu for 2025, elevating in-flight dining across all cabins with a selection of inventive seasonal dishes. Travellers in Upper Class are treated to gourmet highlights such as a vibrant vegetarian poke bowl, decadent lobster and crab tortellini, and a quintessential British Pimms summer pudding. The newly expanded 'extra bites' menu features options like the signature club sandwich, homemade aloo tikki, and the much-loved Northern Bloc strawberries and cream ice cream.

Upper Class guests can also indulge in a chilled glass of Whispering Angel rosé from the esteemed Côtes de Provence—renowned for its bright grapefruit and citrus profile. To complement this, Teapigs peach iced tea is now served onboard, offering a refreshing infusion of juicy peach with premium black tea.

Premium cabin passengers can select from dishes such as spinach and ricotta tortellini dressed in sage butter with roasted pumpkin, or a comforting chicken pie topped with caper panko crumb. For dessert, a tropical passionfruit and mango cheesecake finished with coconut is available.

To celebrate the Easter weekend, all cabins on flights departing the UK to the US and Caribbean were presented with Cocoba chocolate lollies, adding a festive touch at 35,000 feet.

On May 6th, in honor of the King's Coronation, Upper Class travellers were welcomed with a personal bottle of Lanson Black Label Champagne. Between May 6th-8th, every customer flying from the UK to the US and Caribbean was treated to Joe & Seph’s Kings Coronation raspberry and white chocolate popcorn.

In tribute to King Charles, Virgin Atlantic offered a specially curated Mile High Tea in both Upper Class and Premium cabins throughout the Coronation weekend. The menu featured artisan finger sandwiches filled with dill cream cheese and roasted peppers, cheddar with pickle and mixed leaf, and a vegetarian coronation chickpea blend. The experience was completed with warm scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam, and a trio of exquisite mini pastries.

Virgin Atlantic has also strengthened its partnership with Full Circle Farms for its London Heathrow Clubhouse, ensuring a steady supply of organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs grown using regenerative, chemical-free methods. The farm, supported by community volunteers—including individuals with autism and veterans seeking therapeutic work—continues to supply fresh produce, fully integrated into the Clubhouse offerings since July 2024.
