Virgin serves up new Autumn menu

Virgin Atlantic has introduced its highly anticipated Autumn/Winter menu, now available on board for the 2025 season.

For Upper Class travelers, the culinary program artfully blends timeless British favorites with global influences. Signature mains this season include succulent serrano ham with roasted squash, caramelized red onion, and creamy feta, alongside herb-marinated chicken breast and a delicately baked trout fillet. The “Extra Bites” selection features an artisanal cream tea, complete with sultana and white chocolate-orange scones, Cornish clotted cream, morello cherry preserve, and tangy lemon curd.

Additional highlights range from a bao bun filled with cashew satay chicken to a warmly spiced lamb flatbread. Virgin Atlantic continues its focus on plant-based and vegetarian fare, presenting options such as carrot tartare with whipped ricotta, spinach and ricotta tortellini, a comforting apple-parsnip soup, and an upgraded Beyond Burger® with gourmet vegan condiments. Dessert selections are elevated by Northern Bloc’s dairy-free ice creams, including double salted caramel and a vibrant lemon sorbet.

Breakfast service in Upper Class now features a customizable à la carte menu, allowing guests to select from creamy yogurts, seasonal fruit, oven-fresh pastries, and premium cereals. Those preferring a lighter start can opt for the Express Breakfast, served 40 minutes before landing, with choices like warm bacon rolls or sweet pastries. Wellness beverages have been expanded to include Real sparkling tea, Perfect Ted matcha, and Lo Bros kombucha. The expertly curated wine program presents exceptional bottles such as a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Villa Borghetti Valpolicella Classico from Italy.

Premium Class guests are treated to comforting dishes like chicken lasagne, a hearty pork stew, and tofu with vegetable katsu curry. The British cheese course showcases vintage Cheddar and Blacksticks Blue, accompanied by classic pairings. The signature Mile High Tea allows travelers to indulge in either sweet or savory treats, such as coconut-blueberry financiers and classic quiche Lorraine.

Throughout both Upper Class and Premium, guests can enjoy an array of premium snacks, including gourmet crisps, fruit gummies, and curated health bars.
