Air France with refurbished cabin

Air France has elevated its long-haul experience, introducing thoroughly modernized cabins for its Airbus A330 fleet. This comprehensive redesign—covering 15 aircraft—reflects a €140 million investment, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to premium passenger comfort and innovation.

The inaugural journey with these reimagined interiors departed Paris-Charles de Gaulle, bound for Accra, Ghana, marking a new chapter for the carrier’s A330s.

Business Class travelers are greeted by a state-of-the-art seat tailored specifically for the A330, promising an exceptional level of luxury and privacy.

The new Business Class suite transforms into a fully flat bed stretching 2 meters in length and 57.1 centimeters in width, providing restorative rest on intercontinental flights. Designed for versatility, the seat caters seamlessly to solo travelers seeking tranquility or companions desiring connection, thanks to an adjustable privacy divider. Thoughtful ambient lighting highlights the sophisticated cabin, where premium leather and Air France’s signature tricolor flourish create a refined yet inviting atmosphere.

Entertainment is front and center, with an expansive 18.5-inch HD touchscreen offering access to over 1,400 hours of curated content. A streamlined, intuitive handset ensures effortless navigation for discerning flyers.

Even the lavatories have been reimagined with inspiration from luxury beauty brands, while the self-service bar—styled in elegant blue and Champagne tones—serves as a tranquil retreat for mid-flight refreshments.

In Premium Economy, ergonomic enhancements deliver a haven of relaxation and enjoyment.

Upgrades aboard the Airbus A330 include increased personal space and thoughtful amenities:

  • a fixed shell seat with a 130° recline,
  • one of the market’s broadest seats at 48.5 cm,
  • a generous 102 cm seat pitch,
  • adjustable lumbar support to suit a range of physiques,
  • expanded storage options,
  • a larger, more supportive footrest,
  • and a vivid 13.3-inch HD entertainment screen.

Seat cushions are now plusher, and the redesigned leather armrests offer extra width for added comfort.

Across all long-haul cabins, Air France provides signature touches: a soft red feather pillow, a deep blue blanket, and an amenity kit refreshed biannually. Every traveler enjoys individual power outlets, dual USB ports, and a diverse entertainment library—ensuring a journey that is both restful and engaging, whether you’re in Business or Premium Economy.
