Air New Zealand, a leading Star Alliance carrier, has officially launched its state-of-the-art lounge at Brisbane International Airport, redefining pre-flight luxury for discerning travelers.
Spanning an impressive 771 square meters, this newly designed lounge is a vast improvement over its predecessor, now accommodating up to 200 guests with 70 percent more seating and an array of thoughtfully curated zones.
Nestled post-security on the upper level adjacent to gate 81, the Air New Zealand Brisbane International Lounge wraps elegantly around the terminal corner, boasting soaring ceilings, expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, and panoramic vistas of Brisbane’s cityscape and the bustling airport below.
Guests can enjoy a variety of exclusive amenities, including a stylish café area featuring a high-end self-serve dining selection and beverage bar, a dedicated children’s play zone and family nook, tranquil quiet spaces, a communal business worktable, and modern restroom facilities for added comfort.
“Delivering a seamless and elevated lounge experience is at the heart of our customer promise. With bespoke seating arrangements, a calming interior palette, dedicated family-friendly zones, and an upgraded gastronomic offering, this lounge is the perfect retreat for both business and leisure travelers,” noted Carrie Hurihanganui, Air New Zealand’s General Manager Customer Experience.
This Brisbane flagship forms a cornerstone of Air New Zealand’s ongoing AU$100 million, multi-year lounge investment strategy, which has also seen the successful unveiling of premium lounges in Sydney International, Auckland International, Auckland Regional, and Invercargill.
