ANA updates wine offerings with highly acclaimed selection of global wines

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has unveiled an expertly curated wine list for 2025, introducing 62 distinguished wines sourced from 15 countries across five continents. ANA’s onboard wine program continues to collect international accolades, reinforcing its reputation among discerning travelers.

The new wine portfolio was developed following an extensive, seven-month evaluation led by Olivier Poussier (World’s Best Sommelier 2000) and Satoru Mori, Executive Sommelier at Conrad Tokyo. Their team meticulously blind-tasted nearly 2,000 wines, ultimately selecting 62 varietals that best complement ANA’s gourmet cuisine and cater to the refined palates of its global clientele.

Hideki Kunugi, Executive Vice President of ANA, commented, "Elevating our gastronomic offerings remains a top priority at ANA. Our sommelier team’s dedication mirrors the artistry of our acclaimed partner chefs. With selections spanning Europe, Australia, North America, and Japan, our guests can discover wines perfectly matched to their tastes. This newly refined collection is a testament to our ongoing pursuit of excellence in every detail of the passenger journey."

First Class travelers are treated to an exclusive array of premium wines and champagnes, including the prestigious Bordeaux Médoc 2nd Grand Cru Classé Château Cos d’Estournel, celebrated Japanese vintages, and the legendary Champagne Krug Grande Cuvée. Each bottle is chosen to enhance both Western and Japanese menus served onboard.

Business Class guests will find an expanded cellar, now featuring a distinguished Port wine alongside new additions such as the Skuttlebutt Sauvignon Blanc Semillon—a crisp white from Western Australia, reflecting ANA’s recent expansion of Australian routes.

Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers on international flights can enjoy the latest release of the acclaimed "THE CONNOISSEURS" label. This collaborative wine, crafted with master sommelier Olivier Poussier, continues to earn rave reviews for its approachability and balance—making fine wine accessible at 35,000 feet.

ANA’s refreshed wine selection exemplifies its commitment to sourcing the world’s finest products and integrating them seamlessly into the onboard experience, ensuring every passenger enjoys a journey defined by comfort, sophistication, and exceptional taste.
