British Airways adds pre-order meal service to Gatwick

British Airways has extended its acclaimed pre-order meal offering to all long-haul departures from London Gatwick, elevating the inflight experience for discerning travelers.

After a successful rollout at Heathrow, British Airways now brings this bespoke dining service to Gatwick, allowing passengers in First, Club World, and World Traveller Plus cabins to secure their preferred main course ahead of their journey.

This enhancement ensures guests can enjoy their top meal choice, curated by BA’s culinary team, without the worry of availability on board.

According to British Airways’ Director of Customer Experience, Troy Warfield, "Our Heathrow pre-order initiative has been met with outstanding feedback, so we are delighted to introduce this seamless service to Gatwick’s long-haul network. Our priority is to give travelers more control and confidence in their onboard experience."

The process is intuitive and efficient: guests can pre-select their main course through the ‘Manage My Booking’ section at ba.com, available from 30 days up to 24 hours before departure. This flexibility allows travelers to focus on relaxation or productivity once on board, knowing their meal selection is reserved.

British Airways continues to set the standard for personalized luxury, responding to the evolving expectations of premium passengers in 2025.
