This extensive upgrade introduces more than 400 new designer furnishings, with the lounge’s refreshed layout focused on delivering enhanced privacy and comfort for Club World and elite status guests. Modern ergonomic seating, chic occasional tables, elegant dining areas, and plush leather sofas are now complemented by a significant increase in conveniently located power outlets, ensuring guests can stay connected with ease.
During our recent visit, we found the revitalized lounge exudes contemporary British sophistication. New carpeting and meticulously restored oak floors contribute to a refined, welcoming ambiance, reflective of British Airways’ commitment to exceptional pre-flight experiences.
According to British Airways’ Director of Customer Experience, “Our goal is to offer Club World travellers an unparalleled start to their journey, with an environment that’s both relaxing and inspiring. The redesigned lounge delivers greater comfort, functionality, and style, aligning with the expectations of today’s premium flyers.”
Among the standout amenities is the signature Silver Bar, serving a curated selection of premium beverages, including renowned champagnes. The upgraded dining area features an expanded menu of gourmet light bites and snacks, crafted to optimize rest and well-being on board.
Business travellers benefit from a dedicated work and entertainment zone, which includes a 20-seat cinema screening the latest films and news, as well as complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. The acclaimed Elemis Spa continues to offer guests a complimentary 15-minute treatment, ensuring a sense of rejuvenation before departure.
