British Airways rolls out phase two of its world traveller plus investment

British Airways has advanced its multi-year commitment to enhancing its World Traveller Plus premium economy experience, introducing an array of elevated amenities and comfort-driven touches for discerning travelers in 2025.

Commencing this summer, the airline debuts eco-conscious amenity kits crafted from repurposed plastic bottles. Each thoughtfully designed kit contains premium essentials tailored for long-haul comfort, such as an upgraded sleep mask, plush socks, a practical pen, a bamboo toothbrush with toothpaste, and a nourishing lip balm sourced from the acclaimed Scaramouche & Fandango collection.

Passengers will also enjoy a new level of relaxation with a sophisticated herringbone-patterned quilt and cushion—mirroring the signature design elements found in British Airways’ renowned First cabin, now reimagined for the World Traveller Plus environment.

These enhancements follow recent culinary upgrades to the World Traveller Plus menu, emphasizing seasonal British ingredients and chef-curated dishes that have quickly become favorites among frequent flyers.

Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ Director of Brand and Customer Experience, commented: “Our ongoing £6.5bn investment strategy is dedicated to delivering superior value for our guests. The refreshed amenities, together with our highly praised new menus, demonstrate our commitment to making World Traveller Plus a standout choice for premium economy travel.”

Further enriching the experience, British Airways now features a curated cocktail menu in World Traveller Plus. Guests can enjoy classic and contemporary alcoholic beverages, such as the signature Gin Fizz or a perfectly balanced Bloody Mary, alongside sophisticated non-alcoholic options like the Citrus Twist.

For added personalization, World Traveller Plus passengers departing from London can pre-select their main course up to 24 hours before takeoff, ensuring their preferred meal is reserved and ready onboard.
