British Airways says ciao to Linate lounge refresh

With Milan Linate Airport now fully operational, British Airways welcomes travelers to its exquisitely redesigned lounge, blending British sophistication with Italian artistry.

The rejuvenated British Airways Linate Lounge, now open to all eligible guests, greets visitors with a contemporary reception area that sets the tone for a premium pre-flight experience.

Flooded with natural light, the refreshed lounge boasts ergonomic seating, integrated charging stations, and dedicated workspaces—ideal for business travelers seeking productivity. For those wishing to unwind, the lounge now features a curated selection of hot and cold dishes, served in a stylishly updated dining area crafted for comfort and indulgence.

Signature Boss armchairs, custom-designed in Britain, provide unrivaled comfort, complemented by ambient lighting from Tyson, a UK leader in illumination design. Paying homage to its Milanese setting, the lounge features authentic Italian materials such as terrazzo flooring and luxurious Carrara marble accents, seamlessly merging local elegance with British Airways’ global standards.

Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ Director of Brand and Customer Experience, shares: “Our lounges are an integral part of the journey, whether for business or leisure. At Linate, we’ve created an oasis of tranquility and style, complete with high-speed Wi-Fi and exceptional dining, to ensure every guest begins their travels in the best way possible.”

British Airways’ commitment to elevating the ground experience is evident across its network. Recent upgrades include the First and Club lounges at JFK Terminal 7, a state-of-the-art lounge in San Francisco with panoramic runway views, and the unveiling of new flagship lounges in Johannesburg and Geneva. Continuous investment in lounge innovation highlights the airline’s dedication to delivering world-class hospitality for its discerning clientele.
