British Airways Upgrades Champagne And Sparkling Wine Offering

British Airways has recently refreshed its curated menu of Champagne and English sparkling wines for guests traveling in First Class, Club World (long-haul business class), and select premium lounges.

This enhancement forms part of the airline’s ongoing multi-billion-pound investment initiative, aimed at delivering an exceptional onboard and ground experience for discerning travelers.

Serving over two million bottles of sparkling wine annually, British Airways now features Canard-Duchêne Charles VII Champagne and Champagne Jeeper Brut Grand Rosé in its prestigious First Class Lounges. Within the First Class cabin, guests can indulge in Gusbourne English Sparkling Wine and Lanson Rosé Champagne, both recognized for their award-winning profiles.

For Club World passengers, the airline presents Canard-Duchêne Cuvée Léonie Brut Champagne alongside Champagne Besserat de Bellefon Rosé, ensuring a sophisticated start to every journey.

Business Class Galleries Lounges continue to pour Castelnau Champagne, while Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle remains a hallmark of luxury for First Class connoisseurs.

This beverage upgrade complements British Airways’ substantial investment in culinary and beverage offerings. Notably, over £600 million has been dedicated to Club World, introducing a bespoke dining experience and The White Company’s signature bedding for elevated inflight comfort.

The airline’s lounges have also seen significant enhancements, with newly redesigned spaces in Rome and Aberdeen already welcoming guests. Additional openings are scheduled in New York, Geneva, San Francisco, Johannesburg, Chicago, and the updated flagship at Heathrow, all reflecting British Airways’ commitment to premium hospitality in 2025.
