Cathay Pacific is poised to unveil its highly anticipated lounge, ‘The Deck’, at its Hong Kong International Airport hub this March.
Located at the site of the former Dragonair lounge adjacent to Gate 16, ‘The Deck’ promises a transformative hospitality experience for premium travelers. While the opening was initially planned for earlier this year, Cathay Pacific has extended the timeline to ensure every detail meets its hallmark standards of luxury and comfort.
With the debut of ‘The Deck’, Cathay Pacific will retire The Cabin business class lounge at Hong Kong International Airport. The transition is expected to conclude in April, according to recent industry reports. Other acclaimed Cathay Pacific lounges at HKG—including The Wing, The Pier, The Bridge, and The Arrival—will continue to set the standard for elite airport hospitality.
After a meticulous year-long redesign, ‘The Deck’ is set to surpass its predecessor in both amenities and ambiance. The centerpiece is a stunning open-air terrace overlooking gates 16 to 19, providing guests with panoramic airfield views. The interior, curated by renowned London designer Ilse Crawford, blends contemporary elegance with tranquil comfort, tailored for discerning travelers.
Signature features such as Cathay Pacific’s famous Noodle Bar will be available, alongside bespoke elements unique to ‘The Deck’ that elevate the lounge’s individual character and exclusivity.
