Delta introduces new domestic first class seats for A321neo fleet

Delta has redefined premium domestic travel with its Airbus A321neo, now featuring state-of-the-art First Class seats that deliver exceptional privacy, comfort, and advanced technology for discerning travelers.

Leveraging insights from frequent flyers and collaborating with industry leaders RECARO and Factorydesign, Delta has crafted a First Class experience that sets a new benchmark for U.S. domestic routes in 2025.

Inspired by the luxury of Delta's international widebody cabins, the A321neo First Class seats bring a suite-like ambiance to domestic skies, ensuring passengers enjoy a truly elevated journey within the United States.

Key features of Delta’s A321neo First Class seats include:

  • A fixed, sculpted headrest for enhanced seclusion and restful sleep, engineered without sacrificing seat width or personal space
  • An expanded, reinforced tray table providing 25% more surface area for dining and productivity
  • Triple the storage space, including exclusive laptop and water bottle compartments accessible throughout the flight
  • Premium amenities such as easy-access personal power outlets and plush memory-foam seating, delivering all-day comfort

Complementing the new seat design, Delta’s A321neo introduces a cutting-edge wireless in-flight entertainment platform, developed by Delta Flight Products, the airline’s innovative tech division.

Each First Class seat is equipped with an ultra-large, high-definition touchscreen offering a tailored entertainment experience, mirroring the convenience and quality travelers expect from their own smart devices.

This upgrade is part of Delta’s ongoing multi-billion-dollar investment in customer satisfaction. Over recent years, Delta has rolled out complimentary seatback entertainment, free mobile messaging, expanded overhead storage, high-speed Wi-Fi across nearly the entire fleet, complimentary Main Cabin meals on select routes, upgraded snacks, sparkling wine service, Alessi-designed tableware, Westin Heavenly bedding, new TUMI amenity kits, chef-driven menus with wine pairings curated by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, and premium noise-canceling headphones in Delta One and Delta Premium Select cabins, as outlined in the airline’s latest press release.
