Travelers enjoying Delta Air Lines’ First and Business Class service between the United Kingdom and the United States are now treated to an elevated wine and champagne program, curated exclusively for 2025.
Andrea Robinson, Delta’s renowned Master Sommelier, has meticulously assembled this year’s premium wine list, featuring rare selections and exclusive pours for Delta One guests flying from London Heathrow to major U.S. gateways.
Selections rotate seasonally, ensuring that two distinct reds and two whites are available every quarter. During the summer months, Delta introduces a crisp French rosé, perfectly suited to the refined palates of transatlantic travelers heading to the airline’s eight destinations from Heathrow.
Highlights from the current portfolio include Alphonse Mellot “la Moussière” Sancerre and Sokol-Blosser Dundee Hills Pinot Noir. Delta One passengers can also savor Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve Champagne, complemented by a curated dessert wine or port after the main meal service.
Delta’s wine program consistently earns accolades—previously, the Calem 10 Year Old Tawny Port was honored with a silver medal at the prestigious U.K. Cellars in the Sky awards, underscoring the airline’s commitment to quality.
Each wine is thoughtfully paired with Delta’s seasonal menus. For spring, offerings include pan-seared cod with cumin-infused sauce, dhal makhani, and aromatic saffron rice. Over the course of the year, wines are sourced from esteemed regions in France, New Zealand, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and the United States, reflecting a global sensibility.
“Curating the Delta One wine collection is a true pleasure each year,” shares Robinson. “Our wine program is designed to showcase a diverse range of terroirs, including boutique, up-and-coming, and family-run vineyards. Every menu is crafted to highlight the harmony between regional wines and our seasonally inspired cuisine.”
With Delta’s premium guests enjoying upwards of 2.7 million bottles of wine, champagne, and port annually, Robinson’s expertise is essential to meeting discerning expectations. She personally tastes over 1,700 wines from around the world each year, ensuring that only the finest selections appear on board. Our recent journey confirmed that her choices continue to set a benchmark for in-flight wine experiences.
