Emirates adds third daily flight between Dubai and Munich

Emirates has elevated its premium service by introducing a third daily flight between Dubai and Munich, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to the German market.

Since the expansion, Emirates now operates three daily departures on the popular Dubai–Munich route. The additional service is flown by a Boeing 777-300ER, featuring 8 private First Class suites, 42 fully flat Business Class seats, and 310 spacious Economy seats, ensuring a bespoke travel experience for every passenger segment.

The schedule offers an early morning departure from Dubai at 03:20, touching down in Munich at 07:10. The return sector leaves Munich at 10:10, arriving back in Dubai at 19:10, providing seamless connections to Emirates’ global network.

This new frequency complements existing services EK049/050 and EK051/052, both of which are operated by Emirates’ flagship Airbus A380, celebrated for its award-winning onboard amenities.

With this strategic increase, Emirates directly challenges Lufthansa and competes with leading carriers such as Etihad Airways, Oman Air, and Qatar Airways, all vying for premium traffic between the Middle East and Germany.

Emirates first began A380 operations to Munich in 2011, and today, the city is primarily served by the superjumbo aircraft. Emirates also operates A380s to Frankfurt and Düsseldorf, with Hamburg being the only major German city not yet on the A380 network.
