Emirates launches new China routes

Emirates has introduced direct flights from Dubai to the dynamic Chinese cities of Yinchuan and Zhengzhou, further strengthening its position as a premier global carrier connecting the Middle East with the heart of China. With these recent additions, Emirates now operates to five key mainland Chinese destinations from its Dubai International Airport hub—Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Yinchuan, and Zhengzhou.

On the inaugural journey, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates, was present to mark the occasion. He remarked: “Launching services to Yinchuan and Zhengzhou is a significant milestone for Emirates. These new routes offer seamless, efficient connections for travelers and businesses in both cities, linking them to over 140 destinations across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe through our Dubai gateway.”

Dubai’s strategic location makes it the ideal transit point between China and Europe, and as the region’s largest trade and logistics hub, the new flights are set to enhance Emirates’ commercial ties with China’s rapidly growing interior provinces.

Sheikh Ahmed added, “We anticipate that these new direct links will stimulate trade, investment, and tourism flows to China’s central and western regions, supporting their ongoing economic development.”

Emirates operates a state-of-the-art Boeing 777-200LR on the route, featuring Private Suites in First Class, with departures scheduled four times a week—Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays—under flight number EK326.
