Emirates has introduced a daily nonstop connection between Dubai, Yangon, and Hanoi, further strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia in 2025.
Utilizing its state-of-the-art Boeing 777-300ER configured in three classes, Emirates now offers 8 private First Class suites, 42 fully flat Business Class seats, and 310 spacious Economy Class seats on this new route.
With this launch, Emirates’ Southeast Asian network now extends to 14 cities across seven countries, reflecting the airline’s ongoing commitment to connecting travelers with emerging destinations in the region.
Yangon, Myanmar’s vibrant commercial hub, is home to over 7.5 million residents and serves as the country’s economic engine.
Hanoi, Vietnam’s historic capital in the north and its second most populous city, boasts a population exceeding 8 million and is recognized as a UNESCO Creative City. This new route supplements Emirates’ existing service to Ho Chi Minh City, expanding its reach in Vietnam since the initial launch in 2012.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer, remarked, “Launching this service allows Emirates to provide seamless connections for travelers from Myanmar and Vietnam to 41 destinations across Europe, 18 in the Middle East, and a multitude of cities throughout Africa and the Americas, thanks to our expansive global network.”
“Our inaugural service to Myanmar aligns with national tourism strategies, supporting the country’s goal to revitalize international arrivals. For Hanoi, this route offers Vietnamese passengers and the diaspora unparalleled access to Dubai and onward destinations, while also facilitating inbound tourism,” Kazim added.
