At this year's ITB Berlin, Emirates is unveiling its highly anticipated upgraded Business Class seat for the Boeing 777 fleet, setting a new standard for premium travel in 2025.
The airline has confirmed that the innovative seat will launch commercially aboard Emirates’ 170th Boeing 777—a 777-300ER model—entering service later this year.
“Our Boeing 777 Business Class offering has always pushed the boundaries of luxury, but this redesign introduces an elevated level of comfort and style. We’ve incorporated contemporary design elements, enhanced passenger amenities, and further refined ergonomics to deliver a truly superior experience,” shared Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline.
Drawing inspiration from the sleek interiors of modern sports cars, the latest Business Class seat features supple light grey leather upholstery, a precisely contoured headrest, a crystal-clear 23-inch HD entertainment screen, intuitive touch controls, and a streamlined, contemporary aesthetic.
The seat converts into a fully flat bed with a generous 72-inch pitch, adjustable at the touch of a button for optimal relaxation or sleep.
Passengers will appreciate thoughtful enhancements such as an easily accessible personal mini-bar, state-of-the-art USB-C and HDMI charging points, and customizable lighting for reading or ambiance.
Further refinements include a reimagined privacy partition, an enlarged literature storage area, an improved ottoman, dedicated shoe storage, and a larger, sturdier dining table for inflight meals.
Emirates’ Boeing 777 cabins now offer 42 Business Class seats arranged in a spacious 2-3-2 layout, balancing intimacy and accessibility.
All new Boeing 777 deliveries from this year onwards will arrive equipped with the upgraded seat, as Emirates continues its ambitious fleet renewal program with 188 aircraft on order.
