Emirates unveils its brand new Premium Economy

After years of anticipation, Emirates has officially introduced its Premium Economy class, bridging the gap between Economy and Business with impressive style and sophistication.

Emirates has meticulously curated its Premium Economy cabin to offer discerning travelers an upgraded experience that sits comfortably between their renowned Economy and Business Class products. The airline began rolling out this exclusive cabin on its latest Airbus A380 deliveries, and as of 2025, the Premium Economy product is now featured across a growing number of Emirates’ flagship superjumbos and select Boeing B777X aircraft.

Positioned at the aft of the main deck, adjacent to the grand staircase, the Premium Economy cabin is strategically located for privacy and ease of access.

Travelers will find 56 seats arranged in a spacious 2-4-2 configuration. Each seat boasts an impressive 40-inch pitch, distinguishing Emirates’ offering from competitors such as Singapore Airlines. With a generous 19.5-inch width and an 8-inch recline into a plush cradle position, comfort is paramount. The addition of both footrest and calf support ensures a restful journey on long-haul routes.

Passengers benefit from a six-way adjustable headrest, an expansive 13.3-inch HD entertainment screen, conveniently placed charging ports, a side cocktail table, and a large, adjustable dining table—designed for both work and relaxation.

Premium Economy guests enjoy access to three dedicated lavatories, ensuring minimal wait times and enhanced comfort. Emirates has confirmed that Premium Economy is now available on all new A380s, with a retrofit program underway for the remainder of the fleet. The Boeing B777X, entering service in 2025, will also feature this acclaimed cabin class.
