Emirates Unveils Updated Business Class Seats For Some Of Its B77s

Emirates has introduced a reimagined Business Class cabin for its Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, unveiling wider, more luxurious seats in a contemporary 2-2-2 layout.

Following an extensive investment exceeding US$150 million, Emirates has transformed 10 of its Boeing 777-200LR jets, elevating the guest experience with state-of-the-art Business Class seats. These seats are modeled on Emirates’ latest fully lie-flat design, now expanded by two inches in width to enhance comfort for long-haul travelers.

Passengers will appreciate the refined champagne-toned leather upholstery, complete with an elegant diamond-stitched motif and an ergonomically contoured headrest, as first seen on Emirates’ newest 777s. The refreshed cabin offers 38 Business Class seats and 264 Economy seats, all within a thoughtfully modernized two-class configuration.

Each Business Class suite boasts a generous 72-inch pitch and fully flat bed functionality. Features include intuitive touchscreen controls for seat adjustments and the ICE entertainment system, customizable ambient lighting, privacy dividers, dedicated shoe storage, a supportive footrest, and a personal mini-bar within arm’s reach. The ultra-high-definition 23-inch entertainment displays provide an immersive viewing experience.

To create a greater sense of openness, Emirates has eliminated the overhead bins from the center of the Business Class cabin. Enhanced details such as electronically dimmable windows and larger entertainment screens further enrich the onboard ambiance.

Signature design elements, including motifs of the Ghaf tree—the UAE’s national symbol—add a sense of place and authenticity to the environment. Additionally, guests can enjoy a communal mini lounge stocked with premium snacks and beverages, available throughout the flight.

The Economy Class cabin has also been refreshed, featuring a soothing palette of soft greys and blues that reflect Emirates’ modern aesthetic.

These upgraded aircraft are now in service on routes including Fort Lauderdale and Santiago, Chile, among other global destinations, ensuring that passengers across Emirates’ network experience the airline’s latest premium offerings.
