Etihad Airways has unveiled its state-of-the-art First and Business Class Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), setting a new benchmark for premium pre-flight hospitality on the US West Coast.
Nestled within the Tom Bradley International Terminal, this elegant retreat welcomes First and Business Class guests departing on Etihad’s daily Boeing 777 service to Abu Dhabi. This opening cements Etihad’s presence in the US, joining its prestigious lounges in Washington D.C. and New York.
The lounge’s design breaks away from conventional airport aesthetics, embracing Etihad’s signature ‘Modern Arabian’ style. Inspired by the intricate geometry of Abu Dhabi’s architecture and desert landscapes, the interiors exude sophistication and a sense of place, reflecting the airline’s global brand identity.
Evoking the atmosphere of a boutique hotel or an exclusive members’ club, the lounge boasts an à la carte restaurant, a sleek showcase bar, a media lounge, private shower suites, complimentary ultra-fast Wi-Fi, and ample charging stations for all devices. Guests enjoy access to a curated library of international publications. For those seeking additional privacy, a separate VIP suite is available upon request.
Culinary offerings are crafted on-site by a team of expert chefs, emphasizing California’s seasonal produce and sustainable sourcing. The wine program features an expertly selected range of Californian and Old World wines, thoughtfully paired to complement the evolving menu.
The Etihad Airways First & Business Class Lounge at LAX is reserved exclusively for Etihad First and Business Class passengers, Etihad Guest Platinum, Gold, and Silver members traveling on EY170, as well as equivalent elite status holders from Etihad Airways Partner (EAP) airlines. The lounge is located airside with panoramic views over the terminal’s luxury retail promenade, spanning an impressive 407 square meters.
Martin Drew, Etihad Airways Senior Vice President Americas, remarked: “Etihad Airways continues to shape the future of travel, delivering innovative service both in the skies and on the ground.”
He added, “Our LAX First and Business Class Lounge exemplifies our dedication to travelers across the United States, offering the intuitive and personalized hospitality that defines the Etihad experience. We are delighted to welcome our guests into this exceptional space.”
Etihad now operates a global network of 15 Premium Lounges, including its flagship First Class Lounge and Spa in Abu Dhabi’s Terminal 3, Premium Lounges in Terminals 1 and 3, a dedicated US Preclearance Premium Lounge, and arrivals facilities.
