Four new routes for British Airways, Summer 2015

British Airways has enhanced its summer flight schedule from London Heathrow, introducing four seasonal routes to some of Southern Europe's most sought-after leisure destinations: Corfu, Kos, Olbia, and Split. These additions are designed to cater to discerning travelers seeking sun-soaked escapes with the convenience of Heathrow's global connectivity.

London Heathrow – Corfu:

Currently, British Airways operates four weekly flights to Corfu, departing on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Morning departures from London allow passengers to maximize their time on the Greek island, with afternoon returns providing a seamless journey back to the UK.

London Heathrow – Kos:

This route offers two weekly services, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Flights leave London in the morning and return from Kos in the afternoon, offering an efficient schedule for luxury holidaymakers.

London Heathrow – Olbia:

Travelers can reach Sardinia with two flights per week. On Wednesdays, the outbound flight departs Heathrow in the morning, with a midday return from Olbia, while Saturday flights leave London in the afternoon and return from Olbia in the evening. This flexibility caters to both early risers and those preferring a leisurely start.

London Heathrow – Split:

The Split service runs twice weekly. On Wednesdays, passengers enjoy a morning departure from Heathrow and a lunchtime return from Split. Sundays feature an early afternoon departure from London with a late afternoon return, ideal for maximizing a weekend getaway.

All four routes utilize the Airbus A319, ensuring a refined onboard experience. British Airways' decision to operate these Mediterranean flights from Heathrow, rather than its traditional leisure hub at Gatwick, offers enhanced connectivity for international travelers—particularly those connecting from Scandinavia and beyond via afternoon departures.
