Four Seasons reopens in Jakarta

The iconic Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta has unveiled its meticulously restored property in the Central Business District, welcoming guests to a new era of refined Indonesian hospitality.

Nestled along Jalan Gatot Subroto within the prestigious Capital Place development—an architectural masterpiece conceived by César Pelli—the all-suite Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta stands as a beacon for discerning travelers and Jakarta’s elite. The property is celebrated for its seamless blend of modern elegance and traditional Indonesian artistry, earning accolades as one of Southeast Asia’s premier urban retreats.

Renowned designer Alexandra Champalimaud has transformed the hotel’s interiors, creating a dramatic entrance with a sweeping staircase illuminated by a bespoke crystal chandelier. The lobby showcases curated Indonesian artworks, complemented by plush furnishings and ambient, atmospheric lighting that sets a sophisticated tone upon arrival.

Each of the 125 expansive suites is designed to evoke the comfort and exclusivity of a private residence, featuring spacious terraces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and open-air lounges. Guests enjoy cutting-edge in-room technology, a curated minibar, and spa-inspired marble bathrooms, ensuring an indulgent and effortless stay.

Culinary offerings are curated to satisfy the most discerning palates. Palm Court, the hotel’s signature restaurant, serves contemporary Indonesian and international cuisine from breakfast through dinner, with garden-view seating that blurs the line between indoor elegance and outdoor serenity. Nautilus Bar delights with artisanal cocktails inspired by Indonesia’s maritime heritage, while La Patisserie tempts with exquisite handcrafted pastries and confections, elegantly packaged for gifting or to savor in the chic café setting.

The Four Seasons Spa, a sanctuary inspired by the diverse wellness traditions of Southeast Asia, offers treatments ranging from authentic Balinese massages to Ayurvedic therapies, complemented by advanced European skincare from Yon-Ka. The facility includes eight treatment suites—two designed for couples—a Turkish hammam, tranquil relaxation lounges, gender-specific locker rooms, a boutique spa retail space, and a state-of-the-art fitness center open around the clock. The rooftop outdoor pool, fringed by lush tropical plants, provides a serene escape above the city’s vibrant energy.

Catering to Jakarta’s dynamic social and business scene, the hotel offers over 1,800 square meters of flexible event space. The Grand Ballroom, complete with a dedicated pre-function area and an adjoining Garden Terrace, accommodates up to 350 guests for formal dining and up to 1,250 for lavish celebrations, making it a premier destination for weddings and large-scale gatherings.

“Jakarta is a pulsating metropolis with an indomitable spirit, and our team is thrilled to set a new standard for luxury in this vibrant city,” shares General Manager Christian Poda, who leads a team of 250 hospitality professionals from Indonesia and around the world. “Every aspect of the hotel is designed to offer an unparalleled experience, and we are delighted to welcome guests to discover the new Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta.”
