The hotel occupies the upper levels (10th to 39th floors) of the iconic 545-foot-tall Chicony Square, a centerpiece of the historic and bustling Chunxi Road—often referred to as the “Hundred Year Gold Street.” Situated in the heart of Jinjiang district, guests enjoy direct access to Chengdu’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment venues.
Conveniently positioned, the Grand Hyatt Chengdu is a 30-minute transfer from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. Both Chengdu East and North Railway Stations can be reached within 20 minutes by car, while the Chunxi Road subway station is a brief stroll away, ensuring seamless connectivity for both business and leisure travelers.

Each of the 390 guest rooms showcases sweeping views of Chengdu’s skyline through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, complemented by contemporary interiors crafted from rich natural woods and refined Chinese accents.
“Chengdu’s 2,000-year legacy as a cultural and commercial crossroads inspired our design philosophy,” Koehler adds. “Our vision was to create a property that honors the city’s storied traditions, while delivering world-class hospitality and modern comforts.”
Gastronomy enthusiasts can indulge at seven distinctive dining venues, including an open-air Asian barbecue, a global buffet, an authentic Sichuan hotpot restaurant, a traditional tea house, a French-inspired patisserie, a vibrant cabaret lounge, and a classic steakhouse—each curated to offer immersive culinary journeys.
Recreational amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, a year-round heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a tranquil spa with five private treatment suites.
