Salon 2007 Champagne: The Pinnacle of First Class Indulgence

Japan Airlines remains the only global carrier to consistently offer Salon Champagne on its international First Class flights—a distinction held since 2007. The house of Salon is renowned for its limited annual production, which has made its bottles some of the most sought-after in the world of fine Champagne. Discerning First Class guests are welcomed with the signature “S” of Salon, a symbol of exclusivity and sophistication.

Available on select routes since March 2019, Salon is served in First Class between Tokyo (Narita) and New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and from Tokyo (Haneda) to New York, San Francisco, Paris, and London.

About Salon
Founded in the early 20th century in the village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in France’s Champagne region, Salon is revered for its uncompromising standards—producing a vintage only in exceptional years. The 2007 vintage is celebrated for its pure citrus zest and energetic minerality, with notes of white pepper and a lingering lime finish, making it an ideal pairing for both Japanese and Western cuisine at altitude.
