This newly transformed lounge embodies the airline’s commitment to providing a serene and inviting atmosphere for discerning travelers, blending Japanese hospitality with contemporary comfort.
Recognizing the importance of wellness for long-haul passengers, the Sakura Lounge now features three private shower suites—an upgrade from the single suite previously available—ensuring guests can refresh and rejuvenate before their journey.
During our recent visit, we found the lounge’s ambiance to be tranquil, with thoughtful touches throughout that reflect Japan Airlines’ signature service excellence.
Culinary offerings are curated in partnership with NIPPON-TEI, a renowned Japanese dining institution with multiple locations across Thailand, including a flagship in central Bangkok. The menu now boasts an expanded array of authentic Japanese dishes, freshly prepared and elegantly presented.
After enjoying a meal, travelers can make use of the new ergonomic workstations or unwind in plush seating areas, each outfitted with accessible power outlets and USB charging points—ideal for both business and leisure flyers. For those who smoke, a dedicated, ventilated smoking section has also been introduced, catering to a variety of guest preferences.
